Splatter paint effect was done with a pressure pot and an air spray gun. First the (satin) base color is sprayed on normally and then the spatter color is loaded in the pressure pot and the paint feed pressure to the gun remains the same but the air pressure that creates the fan on the gun is lowered to about 8PSI.
